AI & Content Policy
MEDUZA uses AI tools throughout its editorial work. This page says plainly how, and where the limits are.
How AI is used
- Research. AI tools are used to find and read published sources — standards bodies, fibre organisations, museums, extension services, professional associations.
- Drafting. Stories are drafted with an AI system working from an editorial brief that sets the tone, the prohibited claims and the sourcing rules.
- Checking. Before publication each story goes through a separate checking pass: sourced statements are compared with the pages they cite, links are tested, and the text is screened for invented experience, prices, ratings and body-shaming language.
- Design and build. The website itself was built with AI assistance.
What that means for you
The byline “MEDUZA Editorial” is a collective one. It does not stand for a named stylist, and no individual has worn or tested the garments described. Style suggestions are reasoning about clothes, not reports of experience.
AI systems make mistakes, including confident ones. The checking pass reduces them but cannot rule them out. Treat care guidance as general, follow the label on your own garment, and tell us through the Corrections page if something looks wrong.
What we do not do with AI
- We do not generate fake people, authors, quotes, reviews or testimonials.
- We do not present generated clothing as a real product of a brand.
- We do not publish automatically: the launch stories were prepared as a set and checked before the site opened, and there is no automated publishing feed.
Images
The photographs currently on MEDUZA are licensed stock photographs by credited photographers, not AI-generated images. Diagrams are drawn for the site and say so in their captions. If generated illustrations are used in future, they will be labelled as such.
